There are many visitor attractions in this part of Britain and anyone taking a break in Coventry and Warwickshire will not be short of places to go and things to see. In Coventry itself you’ll find Coventry Cathedral a moving experience, and you can trace the legend of Lady Godiva at such impressive locations as St. Mary’s Guildhall and follow the area’s fascinating religious heritage after an invigorating amble through Millennium Place to The Priory Visitor Centre and Holy Trinity Church with it’s intriguing restored Doom Paintings. For modern art, a walk along the Coventry Canal Art Trail is a real eye-opener.

There’s the Coventry Transport Museum, Midland Air Museum and those with green fingers and a taste for the great horticultural outdoors will relish Ryton Gardens, Jephson’s Gardens and Coombe Abbey Country Park. You can go back to Roman times at Coventry’s Lunt Roman Fort and a short drive will take you to Warwick Castle and Kenilworth Castle.
