Travelling to The Yorkshire Dales
By Road: From either the north or the south, the A1 skirts around the north-east and eastern edge of the Dales. Leaving the A1 at Leeds the A 660 or the A650 will soon lead you into green valleys and captivating towns. From the north or south-west the M6 and A65 form the boundary with a variety of entry points into the Yorkshire Dales to choose from.
National Express and Stagecoach run regular coach services from major points in the UK to good starting points in the Dales for your break, and there are various rail services to Leeds, Bradford, Skipton, Harrogate and beyond which will take you into the Dales.
