Hembury Mill is situated in the secluded and peaceful sheltered valley on the eastern outskirts of Askerswell village in Dorset. Get away from the main road and be surrounded by open countryside in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Set within 7.5 acres with an acre of gardens and an orchard, Hembury Mill offers 2 buildings for holiday rentals, The Mill and the Ciderbarn, both have been lovingly restored to their original beauty. Bed linen and towels are all provided, so there is everything you need to enjoy a historic setting in modern comfort.

The Mill is set over three floors and boasts a fully equipped handmade oak kitchen and dining area, a living room which comfortably fits six, complete with a TV and DVD player, and two double bedrooms and one twin. The Mill overlooks the leat and orchard with some spectacular views across the countryside, especially from the second floor. There is an area with seating in the orchard by the mill pond set aside for BBQs. There is a large parking area with space for three cars.

The Cider Barn sits adjacent to the Mill and close to the orchard and garden. With a country cottage style kitchen, wood burner in the lounge and original wooden beams throughout, this unique building is a wonderfully comfortable stay. Both bedrooms are adorned with the original flagstone floor and fitted wardrobes, and the brand new bathroom has both bath and luxury shower. The Cider Barn comes complete with all modern appliances and traditional touches. There is an attached carport/garage for one car and parking area with space for another car if required.

In the garden you will often find friendly chickens hanging around and eating the apples by the orchard. Farther up, there is an outdoor seating and a barbeque area, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding views of the Dorset countryside.

The market town of Bridport, only five miles away, is the gateway to the Jurassic coast. The town has a range of business, professional and shopping facilities, together with a twice weekly market. There is also a thriving arts centre and leisure centre with swimming pool. There is plenty to do in this quiet country retreat.
