Travelling to Shakespeare Country

Getting to Shakespeare Country and getting around once you're here couldn't be easier. The area is served by excellent road, rail and air networks.

By Road: Shakespeare Country has excellent links with the motorway network with easy access from the M40, M42, M1 and M69.

  • London - 1½ hours
  • Oxford - 1 hour

By Coach: Both Stage Coach and National Express run very regular services to the area seven days per week, with busy regular coach schedules from a selection of major bus stations around the UK.

By Rail: Stratford, Warwick, Leamington and many other towns and villages in the area are connected to Britain's rail network. Chiltern Railways run direct trains from London Marylebone to and from Leamington, Warwick, Warwick Parkway and Stratford. The stations in Leamington Spa, Warwick (not Warwick Parkway) and Stratford are all just ten minutes walk from the town centre.
