Located just a 10 minute drive away from the South Wales Coast and its spectacular, award winning beaches and seaside resorts, is the 120 acre Ty Tanglwyst farm. A traditional Welsh dairy farm, proudly owned by the Lougher family who process and bottle milk on the farm and sell it in the local area. It's easy to see why they are so proud "Our cows produce excellent quality milk which, within a very short time, is processed in our state of the art dairy. You need to taste the milk from our farm to appreciate how fantastic fresh milk really tastes". And when you stay at Ty Tanglwyst Holiday Cottages, you get to do just that!

The cottages are 4/5 star Visit Wales accredited and have been sympathetically converted from old stone farm buildings, maintaining as many of the original features and characteristics as possible, they sit adjacent to the main Farmhouse; all are equiped to a high standard with Patio furniture and BBQ for al fresco dining, weather permitting!

The Coach House - is a spacious barn conversion which can comfortably accommodate 8 people in 4 individually styled en-suite bedrooms. It has whitewashed walls, solid wood and flagstone flooring with under floor heating, and exposed beams. Standing in its own grounds with ample parking space the cottage has a pleasant patio, garden and barbecue area. There is also a utility room with washing machine, tumble drier extra fridge and freezer. Secure storage is available here for golf clubs or bikes.

The Granary - is a spacious detatched barn of historical interest, sleeping up to 6 people. This beautiful character accommodation is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a break in comfort. It has a traditional flagstone floor, white washed walls and exposed beams throughout, with full central heating and a blazing wood burning fire. The Granary has its own enclosed patio and lawn area with built in barbecue.

Ivy Cottage - sleeps up to 5 people; ideally 2 adults & 3 Children. Its rustic character has been maintained with white limewashed walls, flagstone floors with rugs, and exposed beams throughout. As well as central heating there is a wood burning stove and a basket of logs supplied. This comfortable, cosy, well equipped open plan cottage has everything you could need; quality furnishings, digital TV, DVD, Video and Wi-Fi. The extending dining table can seat 5 people.

Swallow Cottage - sleeps up to 4 people. Originally a stable and home to families of swallows who returned year after year for the summer months. Similar in character to Ivy Cottage with whitewashed walls, flagstone floors and exposed beams. The open plan living/kitchen area is comfortably furnished and well equipped with a TV, DVD, video and wi-fi. Although centrally heated there is also a wood burning stove. An alternate tread wooden staircase takes you up to a quaint gallery attic bedroom, with a single bed with pull-out bed underneath. Children will enjoy peering through the spindles to the hallway below. The stairs, however, may not be suitable for very young children or adults with mobility difficulties.

Ty Tanglwyst is a working dairy farm and has a herd of 90 pedigree Holstein dairy cows. Visitors who are interested in the farm can see the cows at milking time and can help with feeding the young calves. Visitors may visit the stables to see the horses and ponies and riding lessons are available nearby. A high chair, travel cot and stair gate are available on request. The 25 acre ancient woodland to the south of the farm is full of beautiful walks.

The cottages are in an ideal location, just 10 minutes from the coast, within easy access to the M4 motorway linking South Wales and London. As this is a working farm the Loughers regret that they cannot accommodate family pets and all cottages are all strictly no-smoking.
